Weekdays, 6:30 to 8:00 p.m.
Saturdays, 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

If you require an alternative date and time for orientation, please contact our office. We will work to accommodate work schedules and other household needs.

Homebuyer Process

1.  Take a Two Rivers Community Land Trust Homebuyer Orientation -  Learn about owning a community land trust home, ask questions and receive your application materials. Two Rivers CLT will accept metro CLT Orientation Certificates

2. Application & Income Verification  Meeting - After you have completed your application, set an appointment to have the application reviewed and your income verified. In return you'll receive a letter that lists what you need to bring for your appointment  - Income Guidelines.

3.  Take a HomeStretch Course - All buyers take a first-time homebuyer course through any of the Homeownership Centers in MN.

4.  Contact a Two Rivers Approved Lender. Two Rivers CLT will provide a list of mortgage lenders to a buyer after successful completion of the Application Interview & Income Verification.

Directions to Two Rivers CLT:  I694 to the Hwy 5/Stillwater Blvd. Exit.  At the bottom of the ramp go east into Lake Elmo (several miles from 694).  Laverne Ave. is the second left hand turn as you enter Lake Elmo.  Take a left onto Laverne Ave. Turn left at the next street and turn right into the parking lot. We are in the Brookfield II Building, second floor across from Lake Elmo City Hall.
